CueBench Privacy Policy

Effective: July 2, 2026

What we collect

• Account: your name and email from Google sign-in; optional survey answers (experience level, employer, role, how you found us).
• Session results: scores, skill vectors, task types, token counts, timelines — including short excerpts (up to 280 characters) of your own prompts that power your session stories and coaching. We never store your AI assistant's output, code diffs, or file contents.
• Telemetry: capture-agent heartbeats, feature usage (e.g. coach interactions).

What we do NOT keep

The raw session files you upload are processed in memory/temp storage and deleted immediately after scoring. They are never written to our database or object storage.

How we use data

• To provide your dashboard, coaching, and challenges.
• To operate, evaluate, improve, and train the models powering the Service (beta terms, Terms §5). Raw uploaded files are not used for training.
• Prompt excerpts are transiently processed by OpenAI's API for analysis (per their API terms, not used to train their models).

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with processors needed to run the Service (Google Cloud hosting, OpenAI API) and if required by law.

Retention & deletion

Results are kept while your account is active. "Delete my data" in Settings permanently removes your workspace — sessions, scores, coaching history, and survey — from our database, and excludes your data from future training sets. We are notified of deletion requests to confirm completion.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Google Cloud SQL). Access is limited to the founding team.

Your rights

Depending on your location (GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Self-serve deletion covers most of this; for anything else contact rishan@cuebench.dev.

Material changes will be announced in-product.
